Dogs
We welcome all well-behaved dogs! We particularly welcome guide dogs, as The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association is our chosen charity for 2011 and 2012.

Groups
Groups of 10 or more people can receive a group discount if they pay the driver in one single transaction. One group member goes free per 10 people in the group. Payment may be made by cash, or by cheque made payable to ‘Rubicon Classic Enterprise Ltd’.

Disabled access
The Number 2 bus operating on our timetable is now a low-floor bus, allowing ‘step-free’ access onto the bus for those with limited mobility. There is stowage space for wheelchairs but the users must be able to sit in a standard seat. (Please note there is no toilet on board.)

Pushchairs
The Number 2 bus operating on our timetable is now a low-floor bus, providing ‘step-free’ access for families with buggies. On our other buses we ask that buggies be folded up and stored on the lower deck. If the space is available it may be possible to stow a pushchair with baby, but priority will be given to any wheelchair-user who wishes to board later in the journey.

Children and young people
Children under 5 travel free.
One child aged 5 to 15 years travels free with each fare-paying adult.
Students in possession of full-time education passes may travel at the concessionary rate.

OAPs
Sorry, but we are not part of the national free travel scheme. However we do offer an OAP concessionary rate.

Payment
We accept payments by credit/debit card over the phone and cash. Groups of 10 or more people may pay by cheque, made payable to ‘Rubicon Classic Enterprise Ltd’.

Food and drink
We regret that no food or drink is allowed on board.

Toilets
We do not have toilets in our buses. However, there are many public toilets along our route and in the city centre.

Seatbelts
We do not have seatbelts installed in any of our buses. This is in line with current legislation, which states that buses are not required to have them.
